Organic Bananas are monitored from the production to the actual sale. The EU environmental regulations apply just the same as for organic farming in Europe. The fingers of the banana are at least 18 cm long and have a golden yellow skin and a creamy-white pulp.
QUALITYNOTE
Bananas are always harvested when they are a matured green. The transformation process of starch into sugar can only begin in the pulp after harvest. Bananas must be transported with great caution and at a temperature 14° C to avoid damage to the skin and early maturity.
