This fruit can vary in size, form and colour depending on their origin and sort. They are round, egg-shaped to cylindrical, often with a little nose just above the fruit tip. Mangos are green, greenish yellow, orange, or red to violet. The soft pulp under the smooth skin is bittersweet.
QUALITYNOTE
Depending on the maturity of the fruit, the temperature should not fall below of 10-14° C at 90 % humidity. Mangos can be stored for short periods only. If they are not mature enough to be edible, they will ripen at 20-25° C within a couple of days.
