IFS CRITERIA

The IFS requirements cover the areas of HACCP quality systems and good trade practice (GHP). Certified companies must satisfy the following criteria:

1. HACCP

IFS cover the requirements of the quality system HACCP for the identification, assessment and knowledge of the health dangers posed by food.

2. MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY

Quality assurance is the responsibility of a company?s management. It must be controlled on a regular basis, and modified to include customer requirements. Indicating the producer?s codes on our product labels we make transparent the product?s way until reaching the consumer.

3. RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

The employees must have the necessary training and infrastructure. This includes protective clothing, personal hygiene, medical control examinations as well as further training.

4. TRACEABILITY

A certified company must prove it has a backtracking system, which enables the identification of product lots in relation to import and sales protocols. By the use of producer codes on
our product stickers we can trace the route of our produce up to the consumer.

5. ANALYSIS

Product impairment is minimised by a direct analysis of the product thus enabling short-term product recall and fast correction of possible faults.
